Okay book club members, two days to the beginning of the month, and the start of reading the book of the month...so how would you prefer to do this? Would it be best to allow people to read at their own rate, or split the book into a certain amount of chapters each week?

Incidentally, my book still hasnt arrived Suspect this is highly typical for me!

I bought mine yesterday (3 for 2 at Waterstones) so had to buy two more books!!! Typical for me.

Were you thinking of having a discussion after each section or just having some targets to aim for?

I thought it may work to have everyone feel free to post impressions/thoughts on the book, with no set rules, but perhaps indicating what chapters the topic will refer to in the thread title, so those whom may not have read so far know to give it a miss for now?

Kind of like this:

Thread Title: chapter 1-3 what are your impressions so far?

But i am easy, i want to try to engineer the book club to fit everyone as well as possible and not adding pressure to 'keep up'!

Max,

Yes, I'm happy to do it that way.
