I am Sophie aka FivegomadinDorset, that is where we live and as of 13 days ago there are now 5 of us, I have 2 children a 2 year old girl and a new boy and a husband and a dog. We run a B&B just outside Lulworth Cove and when I have time I am an avid reader of anything, although Ulysses has been sitting on my shelf for sometime now. Always on the look out for new ideas. And I also recognise some of you from MN but I have a new name from there.

Hellooooooo fivegomadindorset Very Happy I bet you don't get much time to read with two kids and a dog, AND running a B & B - I used to run pubs with letting rooms, so I know how much work is involved...

Are you going to tell us your MN identity or not? (you don't have to, I'm just nosey Very Happy)

Welcome to the blurb, it's good here.

Hi fivegomadindorset! FAB name.

Most important question - as fellow the blurb users do we get a discount at your B&B? Wink

Congrats on new baby and welcome. Are you joining the book club?

Hello Sophie,

Congrats on your new baby and welcome to the world of 'one of each'. Maybe its just me but I think having both a boy and a girl adds an extra layer of complexity to the parenting thing (though apart from nappy changing differences not too much for you yet!!). I would recommend you read Raising Boys (Jo's just finished it). But maybe wait a while....

I've just realised it's about 20 years since I gave up on Ulysses. If you do start it let me know it might inspire me to try again.

Looking forward to future chats,

Amanda

Amanda I will let you know when I attempt it.

Nappy changing is interesting he has already managed to pee in his ear. As to boys, I have 3 older brothers and 11 nephews and most of my friends have boys so hopefully I am well covered but will keep an eye out for it, thank you.
