for my new job that i start a week Saturday as a bank nurse at a local nursing home, i will be doing one night a week. It was very strange not having the boys though, i really missed them. Andrew had a good day though, he really enjoyed looking after them without me intefering. I gave them all a big hug when i got home

It'll be odd not being with the boys for that one day a week, but you'll probably find that you go there for a rest!

I am rarely without my littlies, and it feels like I've left something really important behind (like my head or something)

Is it the kind of job where you have to be there just in case, and there is a possibility of sleep, or will you be expected to work all night?

it will be good for me and i know the boys arein safe hands.

i will be in charge of a night so will not be alowed to sleep, i will have breaks but i getpaid for the whole night so no complaints. There are many vulnerable elderly people there and many receiving palliative care so i will be busy but that is what i like, i think once the first night is over i will be fine

I'm sure you will be, you sound as if you are looking forward to the work, just not so looking forward to leaving the kids.

Is it what you did before you had them?
