i must cinfess to loving these books, anything to do with children/babies and i am hooked. I have just got raising boys by Stephen Biddulph from the library today and cannot wait to read it Do you like reading these kinds of books or do you view them as being a waste of time?

yes i tend to quite like reading stories about motherhood and children a lot more these days. Pre kids i wouldnt have looked twice! I think some books are good at reminding you what you have, and it is great to read some humour regarding parenting, instead of all the doom and gloom you get in the media these days!

like you max i would not have read these books before having children but now i find them really useful. It is just good to get ideas about certain issues, wether it be eating habits or bed time routine, and as you say more often than not they contain humour which is very refreshing
